The Sant Jordi-Ribera Baixa Civic Centre is organising the new edition of L'Aparador on 27th September at the Jardins de Joan Salvat-Papasseit. The day will include a craft market, free workshops, and, as a novelty, a musical vermut with a DJ.

El Prat de Llobregat is preparing for a new edition of L'Aparador, the craft and creation market organised by the Sant Jordi-Ribera Baixa Civic Centre. The event will take place on Sunday, 27th September, from 11 am to 8:30 pm, at the Jardins de Joan Salvat-Papasseit, as part of the Festa Major of El Prat.

This year's proposal comes with significant new features. The main one is the inclusion of a musical vermut session led by Zona Delta, which will play from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. This activity aims to add a festive atmosphere to the day and invite attendees to linger over their drinks while enjoying the fair.

The market will bring together a wide representation of craft disciplines: jewellery, micromacramé, ceramics, illustration, screen printing, patchwork, bookbinding, textile making, and the creation of objects from recycled materials. The organisers have highlighted the high number of applications received and the creative level of all of them, although the limited space has forced them to select the participants.

The complete list of participating artisans can be found on the civic centre's website.

At the same time, from 11 am to 1 pm, there will be a meeting of the groups Fet a Mà, with an open practice workshop. This activity will allow attendees to meet the people who gather weekly at Ribera to share sewing, crochet, or scrapbooking techniques. In the afternoon, free creative workshops will be offered to the public, with limited capacity that will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Jardins de Joan Salvat-Papasseit, in the heart of El Prat, will be the setting for a day designed for the whole family. The organisers invite everyone to stroll through the stands and discover unique handmade pieces in an environment that aims to spark the curiosity of both young and old.

L'Aparador is a well-established event within the programming of the Festa Major of El Prat, and this year it aims to enhance its festive character with the musical vermut. The Sant Jordi-Ribera Baixa Civic Centre, a reference facility in 'Fet a Mà' culture, has announced that specific workshop schedules will soon be shared on social media and the municipal website.

For lovers of craftsmanship and creation, this is an unmissable date in the September calendar. Entry is free, and activities, except for the market, are free of charge. It is recommended to arrive early for the workshops with limited capacity.
