The municipal alternative nightlife programme has brought together 1,320 young people between May and July. Volleyball, with 395 participants, leads the most popular activities.

The Castelldefels City Council has concluded this year's edition of the youth dynamisation programme 'A la nit, una altra moguda', which has offered a healthy alternative nightlife for the young people of the municipality from May 2 to July 31. The final balance shows 1,320 participants, a figure that consolidates the initiative as one of the reference proposals for this group.

Of those registered, 1,000 were boys and 320 girls. The bulk of participation was concentrated in sports activities, which concluded on July 25 at the CEM Can Roca with a night of tournaments, while the last leisure proposals continued until July 31.

By categories, volleyball has emerged as the star discipline with 395 participants, followed by laser tag (179), football (178), and basketball (163). These figures reflect the young people's preference for dynamic and team activities, although the more playful and social aspect has also played a significant role.

Beyond sports, the programme has maintained its socio-educational support work in the street. During these three months, 940 young people were informed through outreach and awareness actions, and more than 70 public space engagement interventions were carried out. This work, according to municipal sources, allows for the establishment of trust relationships with groups already participating and reaching new ones.

The street work also included more than 30 interventions in situations of drinking parties, of which 61% were resolved favourably through dialogue, mediation, and follow-up actions. The City Council also highlights the high rate of cleanliness of the spaces used and the young people's willingness to collaborate in maintaining public space.

The council views this edition very positively, reinforcing the objective of offering responsible and quality leisure alternatives, promoting coexistence and social cohesion among the young people of Castelldefels. The next edition is expected to start in May 2027.
