The eclipse will begin to be visible from 19:00 and will last until sunset. Although the total phase will not be visible from Barcelona, a significant part of the solar disc will be covered by the Moon, provided that weather conditions permit. The sunset will add a scenic component to the astronomical event.
Entry to the Castle will include approved glasses for safely observing the sun, instructions for responsible viewing, and a brief guided explanation of the phenomenon. Spaces are limited and must be reserved through the Activities section of the facility's website. The exhibitions in the venue will also be open until 20:00.
