The International Theatre Festival (FIT) of Cerdanyola del Vallès has kicked off its 16th edition with the presentation of the official poster. The image, created by illustrator Marina Sáez, highlights the experience of young audiences in front of the performing arts, marking a shift in perspective from previous editions.
The poster depicts a child sitting in a theatre seat, completely captivated by a performance that is outside the visual field of the image. The aim, according to the organisers, is to invite the viewer to imagine what the child is seeing, thus reflecting the ability of the performing arts to evoke emotions and stimulate imagination.
In past editions, the FIT poster has highlighted disciplines such as circus, clowns, or puppetry. This year, the visual proposal turns its gaze towards the children experiencing the artistic event, emphasising the reception of the performance rather than the specific discipline.
The FIT is a project that has been built from its inception thanks to the involvement of volunteers. This year's edition includes the addition of new volunteers to the Bambalina team, the organising entity, a contribution that helps to strengthen the project and ensure its continuity.
