The 43rd Montcada i Reixac Popular Cycling Event will take place on September 20. The first 150 people to register online will receive a complimentary t-shirt.

The Mobility Department of the Montcada i Reixac City Council, in collaboration with AV Montcada Nova-Pla d'en Coll, has organised the 43rd edition of the Popular Cycling Event. The event will occur on Sunday, September 20, from 9 AM to 12 PM, starting from Espai Poblet. As an incentive, the first 150 people who complete their registration through the provided link will receive a free t-shirt.

Registrations are already open online on the organisation's website. The activity is part of the European Mobility Week, which this year will be held from September 16 to 22, and aims to promote the use of bicycles, sustainable mobility, and the adoption of healthy habits among citizens.

The day is open to people of all ages and aims to be, once again, a meeting point for community participation. Registered participants can collect their bib number and, if applicable, the promotional t-shirt on Friday, September 18, from 5 PM to 7 PM, and on Saturday, September 19, from 10 AM to 1 PM, at Carrerada, 16, in front of the Montserrat Miró Institute.

The Popular Cycling Event is one of the central activities of the European Mobility Week in Montcada i Reixac. The commemoration will continue on September 26 with a programme of activities to be held at the rambla dels Països Catalans and Espai Poblet, which will be announced soon.

The council encourages residents to participate and enjoy a family day on two wheels, thus contributing to more sustainable mobility and improving air quality in the municipality. The initiative reinforces the local commitment to European goals for emission reduction and the promotion of active transport.

To register, interested parties must access the link provided on the City Council's website and complete the form. Spaces are limited, so it is recommended to register as soon as possible to secure the free t-shirt and bib number.
