On October 22, the Sala Josep Brossa at La Patronal will become an open stage for all types of artistic disciplines. The initiative, organised by the Sant Quirze del Vallès Town Hall, is free and aims to encourage citizen participation.
Sant Quirze del Vallès will host a new edition of 'L'Inesperat: Open Stage' on October 22, a cultural event that will transform the Sala Josep Brossa, in the La Patronal space, into a meeting point for creators and the public. The event, which is free and open access, is organised by the Sant Quirze del Vallès Town Hall through the Municipal School of Music and Arts.
The 'open stage' format allows anyone, regardless of their artistic discipline, to take to the stage and share their work. From music and theatre to poetry, dance, or performance, all proposals are welcome. The aim is to promote local creativity and provide a space for expression without filters or judges.
The activity will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, October 22, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. No prior registration is required to attend as an audience member, and those wishing to participate can do so by showing up directly at the venue on the same day. The Town Hall recommends arriving early to organise the performances.
This initiative is part of the municipality's established cultural programme, which aims to energise local artistic life and bring culture closer to all residents. In previous editions, 'L'Inesperat' has gathered dozens of participants, from amateurs to established artists, creating an atmosphere of exchange and camaraderie.
The Sala Josep Brossa, located in the heart of La Patronal, is a versatile space that regularly hosts cultural and social events. Its limited capacity invites a close experience between the artist and the audience, something the organisers consider key to the event's success.
The council encourages residents of Sant Quirze del Vallès and nearby municipalities to participate, either as creators or as audience members. "We want culture to be lively and participatory, and this format allows just that: for anyone to be a protagonist for a while," municipal sources state.
Entry is free until capacity is reached. For more information, interested parties can consult the cultural agenda of the Sant Quirze del Vallès Town Hall or contact the Municipal School of Music and Arts.
