Ten copies of the official programme for the Festa Major de Vilafranca del Penedès 2026 will include an 18-carat gold jewel crafted by Joieria Moner. The surprise will be revealed upon opening the programme, unknown at the time of purchase.
The Festa Major de Vilafranca del Penedès 2026 features a new edition of the initiative that hides gold jewels among the official programmes. The organisers of the festival have announced that ten of the copies for sale will include a piece from Joieria Moner, valued at a total of €3,450.
This marks the third consecutive year that the jewellery store collaborates with the major festival, following the positive reception of previous editions. This time, the pieces have been specifically created for the occasion in the workshop of Joieria Moner, and all are made of 18-carat gold.
Among the hidden jewels are three chain bracelets with a clover-shaped piece, two rings with natural diamonds, blue sapphires, and enamel, and five cord bracelets with a piece and a natural diamond. The distribution will be random, so any buyer has the same chance of finding one of the pieces upon opening the programme.
“For over 150 years we have been part of the history of Vilafranca, and we believe that the best way to show our gratitude is to continue nurturing what we love. That’s why we promote initiatives that make the Festa Major even more special, like hiding jewels in the programmes so that excitement can also be found within its pages,” say those at Joieria Moner.
The organisers highlight that the initiative makes acquiring the programme “even more special” and, at the same time, strengthens the bond between the Festa Major and local commerce. The official programme will be available for purchase during the Capta, on the 19th and 20th of August, as part of a combined package with the Estampa de Sant Fèlix and the gift of the Festa Major, for a price of €35.
After the Capta, the programmes will also be available at the stalls of the organisers in the plaza de la Vila in the days leading up to the festival. The ten jewels will be randomly distributed among all copies, so all buyers will have the chance to find one of the pieces.
