The Municipal Water Service has interrupted supply this Wednesday morning in several streets of the urban area to repair a leak.

The municipality of Abrera has been experiencing a water cut since early Wednesday, August 5, in several streets of the urban area. The Municipal Water Service has activated an emergency response to repair a leak in the network and improve the service.

The affected streets are carrer de Pallejà, carrer d'Ager, avenida de Sant Hilari, and paseo de la Estación. The supply will remain interrupted throughout the morning and until the work is completed, according to the Abrera Town Hall.

The council has apologised to residents for any inconvenience this action may cause. The expectation is that the service will be restored during the day, once the repair work is finished.

Workers are on site to locate the exact point of the leak and replace the damaged section. Residents of the affected streets are advised to check the condition of their taps before using them again.

For any incidents, the Town Hall reminds that the Municipal Water Service can be contacted through the usual channels. Municipal news can be followed on the website abrera.cat and on social media @abrerainfo and @abrerainforma.
