Residents of Castelldefels have until August 31 to use the deixalleria and obtain reductions on the 2026 waste fee. From September 1, contributions will count towards the 2027 fiscal year.
The Castelldefels Town Council reminds that the deadline to benefit from the discounts on the 2026 waste fee ends on August 31. Residents who have not yet used the municipality's deixalleria services can do so during these final weeks.
Reductions are achieved through the use of the fixed deixalleria, the mobile deixalleria, or the MiniDeixalleries. Each contribution made at these points is counted to apply the corresponding discount on next year's bill.
On September 1, the computable period for the 2026 fiscal year will close. From that date, all contributions made at municipal facilities will be taken into account for the 2027 waste fee.
The discount system aims to recognise citizens' commitment to waste separation and responsible management. The Town Council encourages residents to take advantage of the last days of the deadline to promote sustainable habits and contribute to the environmental improvement of the municipality.
Interested parties can check the schedules and locations of the different deixalleria points on the municipal website to plan their visits before the deadline ends.
