The Public Road Maintenance teams of Castelldefels have carried out ten improvement actions at various points in the municipality between August 3 and 7. The work has been aimed at ensuring safety, accessibility, and the quality of urban space.
The most significant intervention has been the replacement of the LED sign at the pedestrian crossing located at Avenida de la Constitución, number 46. This improvement enhances the visibility of the crossing and increases safety for both pedestrians and drivers in the area.
Additionally, the actions have included the repair of several sidewalks on streets such as Doctor Marañón, 20; Calle 7, 5; Molinot, 50; Bisbe Urquinaona, 16; Avenida 305, 58; and Giralda, 42. A curb has also been replaced at the junction of Avenida de la Constitución and Calle de Narcís Monturiol.
At the intersection of Bisbe Urquinaona and Doctor Barraquer streets, protectors have been replaced, and on Calle Arcadi Balaguer, 84, a bollard has been reinstated. All these tasks are part of the periodic maintenance carried out by the council to keep public space in good condition.
The Castelldefels City Council emphasizes that these weekly tasks are key to maintaining a more accessible and safer city for all citizens. Future interventions will continue to be addressed according to the established maintenance plan.
