Santa Coloma de Gramenet revealed this Thursday, July 23, the lineup for its summer Festa Major, which will be held from September 4 to 7. The highlight will be the performance by David Bustamante, who will give a concert on Monday, September 7, in the plaza de la Vila, thus closing four days of festivities.
The singer, known for his participation in the competition 'Operación Triunfo', heads a musical programme that includes renowned national artists. Alongside him, Sopa de Cabra will perform on Friday, September 4, also in the plaza de la Vila, as part of their 40th anniversary tour. On the same day, María Peláe will take the stage in the Riu Sud neighbourhood, in Pau Casals, with her fusion folklore proposal.
Completing the lineup are Chanel, Los Manolos, and El Canijo de Jerez, who will entertain the Colomenses during the weekend nights. The mayor presented the programme at a public event, highlighting the variety of styles for all audiences.
Beyond the concerts, the leisure offerings extend across various points in the city. Parque Europa will host the musical festival Sintonitzza and the vermouth with the orchestra Selvatana. The plaza del Rellotge, in the Fondo neighbourhood, and Mas Fonollar will also feature stages. Can Zam park will host the traditional fairground and tents with night music.
For sports enthusiasts, the Cursa Popular de la Festa Major d'Estiu 'Clemente Hernández' will take place on Saturday, September 5. The five-kilometre race will start and finish at the Camp d'Atletisme Antonio Amorós at 09:00, with a maximum time of 90 minutes.
One of the most anticipated events is the corretapa, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 15:00 across all neighbourhoods. Bars and restaurants interested in participating can register until July 26. The price for a glass of beer or wine with a tapa will range from 3.50 to 4.50 euros, depending on the participating establishments.
The Festa Major de Santa Coloma de Gramenet is one of the most emblematic events of the summer in the Barcelonés, and this year promises a varied programme for locals and visitors alike.
