AEMET has activated a yellow alert for heat in the province of Barcelona, but L'Hospitalet de Llobregat is not under the warning. Monday will bring clear skies and temperatures of up to 33 degrees.

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow alert for maximum temperatures in the province of Barcelona for this Monday, but L'Hospitalet de Llobregat will not be affected by the warning. The forecast for the city indicates a day of intense heat, although within the usual parameters for this time of year.

Clear skies and progressive heat

According to AEMET, the morning will start with completely clear skies from dawn until 12:00 hours. From midday onwards, cloud cover will increase, although the day will end with high clouds that will not bring precipitation.

Temperatures in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat will range between 26 degrees minimum and 33 maximum, a figure very similar to that of Sunday. The maximum thermal sensation will reach 35 degrees, according to data from the state agency.

Winds will blow lightly from the southeast throughout the day, with no significant gusts expected. For the city's residents, the heat will be particularly noticeable during the central hours of the day, so hydration is recommended and prolonged sun exposure should be avoided.

Tuesday and Wednesday: similar trend

On Tuesday, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat will experience a day with cloudy intervals in the morning, but skies will clear from 12:00 onwards. Temperatures will remain practically the same, with maximums of 33 degrees and minimums of 26.

On Wednesday, the trend will be similar: slightly cloudy throughout the day and no chance of precipitation. Temperatures will again match those of Monday and Tuesday, with 33 degrees maximum and 26 minimum. The wind will again be light from the southeast.

In the wider province, other locations such as Barcelona city and Castelldefels will also record maximum temperatures of 33 degrees, although with more variable skies. In the Catalan capital, the minimum will be 27 degrees, while in Castelldefels it will drop to 25.

A summer without major upheavals

The absence of a yellow alert in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat contrasts with the activation in other areas of the province, where temperatures could exceed 35 degrees. The city thus escapes the more restrictive warnings, although heat remains the main feature.

AEMET data confirms that the week will be stable, with no abrupt changes or storm episodes. For the residents of L'Hospitalet, this translates to ideal days for enjoying terraces or outdoor spaces, always with caution against the high temperatures.

Summer is progressing without major meteorological upheavals in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, although the medium-term forecast suggests that the heat could intensify towards the end of the week. For now, Monday calls for good hydration and seeking shade.
