The alert will be active from midday until the end of the afternoon, the period of greatest risk due to high temperatures. AEMET recommends avoiding sun exposure during the peak hours of the day and staying hydrated, especially for the elderly and children.
Forecast for Wednesday and Thursday
Wednesday will be a clear day until midday, when cloud cover will begin to increase. The maximum temperature will be 35 degrees, similar to tomorrow, with light southeast winds. The minimums will remain around 23 degrees.
On Thursday, the situation will not improve: temperatures will again exceed 35 degrees and the sky will be clear in the morning, with clouds increasing later. No rain is expected. The gentle southeast winds will not alleviate the heat.
Weekend: relative relief
On Saturday, cloudy intervals with little rain will arrive, which could slightly lower temperatures. The maximum will be 33 degrees and the minimum 18. On Sunday, cloudy intervals will continue, with a maximum of 30 degrees. The wind will blow from the south.
