Setter Elia Rodríguez (23 years, 1.77 m) has become the new addition to Fundación Cajasol Andalucía, the reigning champion of Liga Iberdrola and Copa de la Reina. The player, who was trained at Blume and has spent the last three seasons at Barça, joins the Nazareno team to face the challenge of the CEV Champions League, a competition in which the team will debut this season.
Rodríguez began her volleyball career at the grassroots level at Blume before making the leap to DSV Sant Cugat, the club where she took her first steps in higher categories. Subsequently, her career led her to Barça, where she contributed to the team's promotion and the conquest of the Copa Princesa. The board, led by Antonio Marín Rendón, has opted to strengthen the squad with seven signings this summer, including Rodríguez.
