The Montcada i Reixac Town Council will open registrations on September 7 for a wide range of courses and workshops in civic centres, the Municipal School of Art, and the Music Room, among other facilities.
The registration period for the courses and workshops programmed by the Montcada i Reixac Town Council for the 2026-2027 academic year begins on September 7. The offer, promoted by the Xarxa d'Equipaments and the Department of Culture, includes activities in civic centres, the Municipal Music Room, the Municipal School of Art, and the Local Catalan Service, among other spaces.
Places are limited and, although most activities are free, prior registration is mandatory. The general registration period extends until September 30, although some courses, such as those at the Casal de Gent Gran Casa de la Mina, have specific dates.
Civic Centres: Autumn Quarterly Programme
The civic centres Can Cuiàs, l'Alzina, and la Ribera, along with the Casal de Gent Gran Casa de la Mina and the Casino de Terra Nostra, will host a quarterly programme from October to December. Registrations can be made in person at the facility or online through the website centrescivicsmontcada.miram.cloud.
For the workshops at the Casal de Gent Gran Casa de la Mina, the council has established specific registration dates that will be communicated soon. The Town Council reminds that even free activities require prior registration due to limited places.
Municipal Music Room and School of Art: Annual Offer
The Municipal Music Room, located at the Casa de la Vila, the Espai Cultural Kursaal, and the Municipal Auditorium, opens registrations from September 7 and throughout the academic year, subject to availability. Registration can be processed in person at the Casa de la Vila (Major, 32) or online at casavilamir.miram.cloud. For inquiries, the email aulamusica@montcada.org is available.
Meanwhile, the Municipal School of Art, located at the Centre Cultural Casa Larratea (Montiu, 13), also keeps registrations open throughout the academic year. In-person registration begins on September 16, Monday to Friday, from 17:15 to 19:45.
Catalan and Photography Courses: Deadlines and Details
The Local Catalan Service offers Catalan courses for the 26-27 academic year at the Casa de la Vila. The preferred registration period is September 14 and 15; the general period for basic levels is September 16; the general period is September 17, 18, and 21; and the Superior C2 level is on September 21. Registrations can be made online at www.cpnl.cat/inscripcions or in person at the Casa de la Vila (4th floor) during specific hours.
The Associació Fotogràfica AFOTMIR organizes a basic Photoshop and image capture course at the Antigues Escoles de Mas Rampinyo (Alt de Sant Pere, 73).
