The Culture Department of Montcada i Reixac has put tickets on sale from this Wednesday for the theatre programme, which will take place between September and January 2027 at the Teatre Municipal and the Espai Cultural Kursaal.
Next Wednesday, July 22, at 10 am, ticket sales will open for the new theatre season in Montcada i Reixac. Tickets can be purchased both on the website www.teatremontcada.cat and in person at the box office of the Auditori Municipal starting at 5 pm.
Subscriptions for four shows at 50 euros
One day earlier, on Tuesday, July 21 at 5 pm, subscriptions allowing access to four productions in the programme will go on sale. The price of the subscription is 50 euros and grants access to the plays Permagel, Göteborg, Dinamarca, and Els objectes flotants. Subscriptions can be purchased both online and at the Auditori Municipal.
The season will officially kick off on September 20 with a presentation event at the Teatre Municipal (Calle Tarragona, 32). That day, starting at 6 pm, the XIV Premis Dalmau will be awarded and the play You say tomato will be performed. Admission to this event is free, although limited to two per person, and can be obtained from Wednesday 22 on the website or at the Auditori.
A varied programme until January 2027
The theatrical offering will extend until January 2027 and will combine theatre, music, and family shows. Among the highlighted works are Permagel (October 4), Göteborg (October 17), and Dinamarca (November 15), all included in the subscription. There will also be musical proposals such as the Solidarity Gospel Concert (November 14) and the show-concert Beethoven (November 29).
The venues will be the Teatre Municipal and the Espai Cultural Kursaal (Calle Masia, 39). The Councillor for Culture has encouraged residents to take advantage of the subscriptions, which represent a saving compared to buying individual tickets. "It's an opportunity to enjoy four great shows at a very reasonable price," she noted.
For the little ones, the programme includes the musical Armstrong, un musical molt espacial (October 18) and Viva! (October 30). The local theatre thus consolidates itself as a cultural reference in the region, with an offering that mixes established authors and new proposals. Online ticket purchases will be available 24 hours a day, while the in-person box office at the Auditori Municipal will operate in the afternoon.
