The Cardedeu Town Council modifies the schedule for door-to-door collection in the centre during the August Festa Major. Residents must put out their bins in the morning before 8:30 am.
Due to the Festa Major, the Cardedeu Town Council has announced a change in the door-to-door collection service in the streets of the centre. On the affected days, bins must be placed out in the morning, before 8:30 am, instead of the night before.
The modification affects the days 11, 12, 13, and 16 of August, when the usual collections are moved to the following morning. The aim is to clear the streets during the celebrations and facilitate the work of cleaning services.
Changes for households
In the streets marked in blue on the map, residents will need to adapt to a new schedule. The collection on Tuesday 11 moves to Wednesday 12 morning: bins should not be put out that night, and on Wednesday, organic waste and paper must be placed out before 8:30 am.
The collection on Wednesday 12 is moved to Thursday 13 morning, with the residual fraction. The collection on Thursday 13 moves to Friday 14, with organic waste and containers. Finally, the collection on Sunday 16 will be moved to Monday 17, also with organic waste and containers.
Businesses and restaurants
Establishments on the streets marked in red must leave their bins at one of the four designated points, while those on the blue streets will maintain their usual points. There will be extra collections for businesses on August 13, 15, 16, and 17.
The plan includes specific reinforcements: on Thursday 13, organic waste and containers will be collected; on Saturday 15, organic waste, containers, and paper; and on Sunday 16 and Monday 17, organic waste and containers. In all cases, bins must be on the street before 8:30 am.
The Town Council recommends checking the map of affected streets to see if the residence or business is within the modified area. The changes aim to minimise inconvenience and maintain cleanliness during the festivities.
