The new figure aims to involve residents in the organisation and development of festive events, reinforcing community spirit and a sense of belonging to the municipality. The groups, a deeply rooted tradition in other towns, will play a leading role in concerts, popular activities, and institutional events.
In addition to participating in the general programme, registered groups will enjoy an exclusive activity promoted by the council to encourage interaction between groups. It is also planned for representatives of each group to attend the official reception of the announcer in the Town Hall's Plenary Hall, one of the events that marks the start of the celebrations.
The high participation in this first call confirms the public interest in a proposal that, according to the Town Hall, strengthens the local associative fabric and turns residents into "protagonists of the celebration."
