The Catalan singer presented his new album 'Immortals' to a packed Jardín de Terramar. The festival's first weekend ended with sold-out tickets for all three concerts.
Joan Dausà has turned the Terramar CaixaBank Festival in Sitges into a collective celebration. The singer and songwriter presented his new work, Immortals, on Monday at a Jardines de Terramar that sold out all tickets. The concert capped off the first weekend of the ninth edition of the festival, which has recorded full houses for performances by Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Sergio Dalma, and Dausà himself, with a total attendance exceeding 6,600 spectators.
The artist returned to Sitges after nearly two years without performing large-format concerts. The Immortals tour is designed as a leap forward both technically and visually, featuring a limited series of major events across the territory. The ambitious stage production was conceived to amplify the emotions of the songs and turn them into a shared experience.
The concert kicked off with Welcome to My Party, the first single from the album, which incorporates rhythms inspired by the Māori haka to convey strength, unity, and celebration. From there, the repertoire combined new compositions with established anthems from his career such as Tot anirà bé, Jo mai mai, and La gran eufòria, which had the audience on their feet singing in unison.
One of the most special moments came when Dausà moved to a second stage set up among the audience. From that space, the artist reduced the distance with the public and offered a more intimate segment with a medley and songs like Truca'm, Diria que eres tu, and Ho podríem intentar. The simplicity of the format and the physical closeness made that passage one of the most emotional episodes of the night.
The artist was accompanied by a compact band featuring Fluren Ferrer on guitar and keyboards, Dídac Fernández on drums, Anaïs Vila on guitar and vocals, and Miquel Sospedra on bass. Together, they performed a repertoire that also included Judit, Papi posa-la al disc —recorded with Mama Dousha— and Seria bonic, chosen to close the show.
Dausà's concert concluded the first weekend of the festival, which opened on Friday with an exceptional performance by Sílvia Pérez Cruz. On Saturday, Sergio Dalma celebrated his forty years of career with the Ritorno a Via Dalma tour and received the Premio Nenúfar 2026. All three events sold out, a result that reinforces the festival's appeal among the audience in the Garraf region.
The ninth edition of the Terramar CaixaBank Festival will continue over the coming weeks with new concerts at the Jardines de Terramar in Sitges. Tickets for the upcoming events are on sale on the festival's website.
