Teatre Plaza and Sala Margarida Xirgu in Castelldefels kick off their programming from October to December under the slogan 'Inspira', featuring theatre, music, dance, and film.
Teatre Plaza and Sala Margarida Xirgu in Castelldefels have unveiled the cultural programme for the fourth quarter of 2026, which will take place from October to December under the slogan 'Inspira'. The new season, which continues from the second half of the year, will bring together more than twenty proposals including musical theatre, concerts, monologues, dance, film, and family shows.
The programme, organised by the Castelldefels City Council, pays tribute to the female directors of performing arts in the city, whom the slogan 'Inspira' aims to recognise for their talent and sensitivity. Tickets are already available through the Entràpolis platform, where they can be purchased for both Teatre Plaza and Sala Margarida Xirgu shows.
October kicks off strongly with the musical 'That Jazz', a tribute to Chicago by the company La Cuarta Pared, which will be performed on October 2, 3, and 4. This will be followed by the monologue 'Corta el cable rojo' as part of the Castelldefels Comedy Stars cycle, taking place on Saturday, October 10. The October programme also includes the musical 'Drácula', with script and direction by Performing Arts, on the 14th and 15th, and 'Friends the musical parody' on Saturday the 17th.
On Sunday, October 18, singer Nereida Fau will present her EP 'Relato mínimo' as part of the Castelldefels a Escena cycle. Cinema will have its space in Sala Margarida Xirgu with screenings of 'Lugares comunes' on Wednesday the 21st and 'Antártida-Dominio Uno' on Friday the 23rd. The month will close with a triple concert featuring David Perís, Curro García, and Camil Castellà with band on Saturday the 24th, and the monologue 'Impro Horror Show' on Friday the 30th.
In November, the cultural offering continues with the musical proposal 'Carmen, une petite histoire d'amour' by the company Opera Collage on Friday the 6th. December will be marked by Christmas. On Saturday the 5th, a Disney animated film will be screened in Catalan for the whole family, and on Tuesday the 22nd, a Christmas classic will be shown on the big screen. The grand finale will arrive on Sunday the 27th with the Christmas concert by the Orquestra de Cambra Terrassa 48, accompanied by soprano Marta Valero, who will perform dances, waltzes, and polkas.
