The El Masnou Town Hall launches a new quarterly publication featuring all activities related to equality, coexistence, and diversity. The first edition covers September to December 2026.
The El Masnou Town Hall will launch the new equality activities agenda next September, a quarterly publication aimed at becoming a stable tool for information and citizen participation. The format follows the model of other municipal publications, such as the activities agenda for the elderly.
The first edition, covering the period from September to December 2026, groups together activities, services, and resources promoted by the Equality Department. The goal is to give more visibility to a programme that has so far been disseminated in a scattered manner and to facilitate access for anyone wanting to know all the proposed activities for the quarter.
The programme includes personal growth workshops, feminist self-defence sessions, wellness activities such as yoga, a participatory theatre workshop in honour of November 25, and the screening of the documentary Dones en lluita, as part of the Conegudes i Reconegudes cycle.
Also noteworthy is the exhibition Cossos que parlen. Les representacions del cos en les autores de còmic (1910-2022), which is already open for viewing at the Espai Casinet. The exhibition, which will be open until September 27, incorporates universal accessibility criteria and will be complemented by a comic workshop and a conference by its curator and comic author, Marika Vila.
The publication also previews some initiatives planned for the coming months, such as participatory workshops to begin defining a future Equality Space, as well as the El Masnou Women’s Meeting, a proposal aimed at promoting exchange and citizen participation in this area.
The agenda dedicates a prominent space to the programming for November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and includes information about the El Masnou Pact against male violence, the Lilac Points Network, and permanent municipal services such as the Information and Attention Service for Women (SIAD), the Comprehensive Attention Service (SAI) LGBTI, and the El Masnou Concilia childcare service.
