Kadri Puri and Erika Kliokmanaite, current champions of Catalonia, have triumphed in the third edition of the King & Queen of the Beach tournament held in Cunit. In the men's category, Ramiro Sancer and Víctor Salema took the title.

The Badalona duo of Kadri Puri and Erika Kliokmanaite have once again demonstrated their dominance in Catalan beach volleyball by being crowned champions of the third edition of the King & Queen of the Beach, held this weekend at Cunit beach. The tournament brought together some of the best pairs from the regional and national scene, also crowning Ramiro Sancer and Víctor Salema in the men's category.

Puri and Kliokmanaite, who just a week ago successfully defended their title as champions of Catalonia in Badalona, add another victory to their record. In the final, they defeated Carlonia Barbosa and Anique Tavenier, who finished in second place, while Elia Carpena and Laura García completed the women's podium.

In the men's category, Sancer and Salema capped off a great performance by winning in a highly demanding final. The podium was completed by Pablo Prieto and Xavi Pérez in second place, and Nahuel Tagliaferro and Thibault Torrellas in third.

The third edition of the King & Queen of the Beach has established the event as one of the key fixtures in the Catalan beach volleyball calendar. The competition, held at Cunit beach, showcased a high level of sport and great equality among the participants, as highlighted by the organisers.

The awards ceremony was attended by Estefania Serrano, territorial representative of Sport in Tarragona; David Marquínez, councillor of the Cunit City Council; Xavier Lorenzo, Sports councillor of Cunit; Eduard Torrent, president of the Technical Commission of Referees of the Catalan Volleyball Federation; and Maribel Zamora, president of the Catalan Volleyball Federation.

For the Badalona players, this victory represents an important boost for their upcoming commitments. Puri and Kliokmanaite, who have already demonstrated their superiority in the Catalonia championship, continue their streak of successes in a summer that solidifies them as one of the most formidable pairs on the circuit.

The tournament, which took place over the weekend, attracted a large audience who enjoyed highly intense matches. The organisation positively assessed the development of the competition and is already working on the next edition, which is expected to take place again at the same location.
