L'Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council has opened the registration period for an employment plan aimed at 47 unemployed individuals, with 12-month contracts. Applications can be submitted until August 7.
L'Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council has launched a new employment plan that will offer one-year contracts to 47 unemployed people. The initiative, framed within the Employment and Training Programme, aims to facilitate the labour market integration of groups with special difficulties accessing employment.
The positions are distributed across three categories: 25 posts for clerks, 17 for auxiliary technicians, and 5 for civic workers. All contracts will begin next November. The funding is provided by a grant from the Catalonia Public Employment Service (SOC) and a municipal contribution.
To participate, candidates must be registered as unemployed job seekers and have received an informational letter from the L'Hospitalet employment offices. Those who have not received it can request it via email from the relevant office according to their postal code.
Interested individuals have until August 7 to formalise their registration through the City Council's electronic headquarters or in person at the citizen service offices (OAC) and district councils. It is mandatory to present the informational letter during the selection process.
The plan targets individuals at risk of social exclusion or with barriers to finding employment. According to municipal sources, this action is part of the active employment policies of the council to reduce unemployment in the city.
To resolve any doubts, residents can contact the employment offices: the Cobalt Employment Office serves postal codes 08902, 08903, 08904, 08907, and 08908; while the La Farga Employment Office covers codes 08901, 08905, and 08906. Email addresses are available on the municipal website.
The City Council reminds that this plan is not the only one in progress: new calls are periodically launched within the Employment and Training Programme. Interested parties can check upcoming initiatives on the official channels of the council.
