The L'Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council has opened the application period for a new employment plan that aims to hire 47 unemployed individuals for 12 months. The call combines a significant number of positions with a prior filter that limits access to those who have received a letter from the job offices.
The L'Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council has launched a new employment plan that will offer 47 twelve-month contracts for unemployed individuals. The application period is now open and will end on August 7.
The programme, framed within the Treball i Formació initiative, is aimed at groups at risk of social exclusion or with special difficulties in accessing the labour market. Interested individuals can submit their applications electronically through the electronic headquarters or in person at the citizen service offices and district councils.
However, not all unemployed individuals in the city will be able to apply for these positions. To participate, candidates must be registered as unemployed job seekers and must have received prior communication from the L'Hospitalet job offices that enables them to formalise their application. This requirement ties the process to a prior administrative pre-selection before the general application period opens.
In practice, registration is not open to any unemployed person who wishes to apply on their own. Only those who have been previously contacted by the local employment service will be able to access the call.
The employment plan is funded by the Servei Públic d'Ocupació de Catalunya and a municipal financial contribution. The shared funding supports an initiative aimed at individuals with greater difficulties entering or returning to the labour market.
In other recent employment processes and access to municipal services in the city, such as the nursery pre-registration or the call for 27 police positions, the City Council has also channelled the procedures through registrations and set procedures.
Applications can be submitted until August 7 at the electronic headquarters, at the citizen service offices, and at the district councils. Interested individuals who meet the requirements and have received the prior letter must submit the required documentation within the established deadline.
