The non-sedentary market of Les Fontetes will change location during August due to construction on carrer Reis. It will be held at Parc del Turonet on Fridays 7, 14, 21, and 28.
The Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council has announced that the non-sedentary market of Les Fontetes will temporarily move to Parc del Turonet during the month of August. This measure is in response to the renovation works on the water pipeline currently being carried out on carrer Reis.
On Fridays 7, 14, 21, and 28 of August, the market will exceptionally open in the park, maintaining its usual hours of 9 to 1. The rest of the commercial activity will continue as normal at the new location.
The council emphasizes that this move ensures the continuity of activity while the improvement works on the supply network progress, an action aimed at enhancing the quality and reliability of the water service in the area.
The City Council has thanked the understanding of the citizens, the market vendors, and the surrounding establishments for any possible inconveniences. Once the works are completed, the market will return to its usual location in Les Fontetes.
During the month of August, residents of Cerdanyola will need to travel to Parc del Turonet to do their shopping at the market. The return date will depend on the progress of the works on carrer Reis.
