The gastronomic event in Montcada i Reixac will take place on October 2, 3, and 4 at Espai Poblet, featuring 15 stands for local restaurateurs and shops. Registrations are now open until September 4.

The Montcada i Reixac Town Council has initiated the registration period for the 2026 Gastronomic Show, which this year extends to three days. The event will be held at Espai Poblet on October 2, 3, and 4, with hours including Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

The initiative aims to promote the local gastronomic offer and support restaurants, bars, and specialised food shops in the municipality, offering a maximum of 15 stands. Each establishment may submit a single application, which must be processed electronically by September 4, 2026, at the Town Council's electronic registry.

The Councillor for Commerce, Dámaris Sánchez, highlighted the governing team's commitment to boosting local commerce and gastronomy. “We want to continue promoting local commerce and gastronomy, which is very rich and of a high standard; the Town Council will do everything in its power to enhance this sector,” she explained.

The culinary proposals must include a minimum of four dishes, with detailed information on ingredients, preparation, allergens, and technical requirements. The stands must remain open and operational throughout all days and during the established hours.

The Town Council will provide tents, furniture, basic electrical connections, access to drinking water, and general event services. If the number of applications exceeds the available spaces, a committee will evaluate the quality and creativity of the offer, the establishment's track record, and the proposal's viability.

The Montcada i Reixac Gastronomic Show is becoming a key event for the local restaurant sector, which sees this event as an opportunity to gain visibility and attract new customers. The extension to three days responds to the positive reception of previous editions and the desire to stimulate the municipality's economy.

For interested restaurateurs, the participation guidelines are already available on the municipal website. Required documentation must be submitted within the established deadline to qualify for one of the stands. The Town Council recommends that applicants prepare an attractive and well-documented offer to increase their chances of being selected.

Espai Poblet, located in the centre of Montcada i Reixac, will become the epicentre of local gastronomy for a weekend, with offerings for all tastes. The Show aims not only to promote restaurants but also specialised food shops, such as artisan or local product stores.

Visitors will be able to enjoy tastings, learn about local products, and discover new establishments. For participants, it is a platform to build customer loyalty and showcase their offerings in a festive and quality environment.

Registrations close on September 4, and selected participants will be announced in advance to prepare for their participation. The Town Council expects the Show to be a success in terms of participation and attendance, consolidating Montcada i Reixac as a gastronomic reference in Vallès Occidental.
