Young people in Mollet del Vallès aged 18 to 35 can apply from this Monday for a grant of up to 950 euros to cover the initial costs of a rental agreement signed from October 2025.
The Mollet del Vallès Town Hall has opened the grant application process for the emancipation of young people, a financial aid aimed at covering part of the initial costs of a rental contract. The maximum amount is 950 euros and can be used for items such as the deposit or additional guarantee.
Those eligible are residents of Mollet aged between 18 and 35 who are holders of a rental contract signed from 1 October 2025 and throughout 2026. Applications can be submitted from this Monday, 3 August, until 30 September 2026.
Interested parties should contact the Local Housing Office (OLH) of the municipality, where they can also resolve any questions about the requirements and necessary documentation. All information is available on the municipal website, in the housing and grants section.
“The initial housing costs will be subsidised up to a maximum of 950 euros,” officials from the council state.
In addition to in-person assistance, the Town Hall has set up several contact channels: the phones and WhatsApp numbers 630 189 016, 659 303 945, 676 101 742, and 649 611 924, as well as the email address bhabitatge@molletvalles.cat.
This call for applications is part of local housing policies to facilitate access to a first home for young people in the municipality, one of the age groups most affected by rental prices. The aid will be paid once the expenses incurred are justified, according to the published guidelines.
Interested parties have until the end of September to submit their application. The council recommends reviewing the full requirements before starting the process.
