The municipality will host an official event of the Superenduro Spain Cup on August 28 and 29 at the Can Morral grounds, with free entry for residents.

Motor enthusiasts have a date in Abrera at the end of August. The municipality will host an official event of the Superenduro Spain Cup, which will take place on Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29, at the Can Morral grounds. The event, organised by MotoClub Abrera, is in collaboration with the Town Hall.

During the two days, various competitions specific to this event will be held, bringing together riders from all over Spain. The venue will be specially prepared for the occasion, and the public will be able to follow the action from the stands, although the organisers recommend bringing a folding chair for greater comfort.

Sports and Leisure Programme

The competition will kick off on Friday, August 28, with free practice from 9:00 to 12:00 and timed trials from 18:00 to 20:00. In the evening, from 20:00 to 22:00, children's races will take place in both male and female categories. The day will conclude with a DJ session starting at 22:00.

Saturday, August 29, will also begin with free practice in the morning (9:00 to 12:00) and timed trials in the afternoon (18:00 to 20:00). The Superenduro Spain Cup races, in both male and female categories, will take place from 20:00 to 00:30. The final touch will be a tribute concert to Fito & Fitipaldis starting at 00:30.

In addition to the sporting activity, the organisation has planned an entertainment programme that includes a guest DJ, a speaker, and a food truck area. There is also consideration for potential collaboration with cultural entities from Abrera to expand the weekend's entertainment offerings.

Tickets: Free for Residents and 10 Euros for Others

Residents of Abrera can obtain their free ticket through the municipal website, using the code AbreraEnduro on the online sales platform. At the venue entrance, it will be necessary to prove residency with the corresponding documentation.

Those who are not residents of Abrera can purchase a ticket for 10 euros through the Entrápolis platform, valid for both days of competition. Access to the venue will be via Carrer de Frederica Montseny, in the Rebato area.

A Boost for the Municipality

The celebration of this official event will turn Can Morral into a meeting point for motor enthusiasts and will give Abrera exposure beyond the region. The event, which is part of the national superenduro calendar, presents an opportunity for locals and visitors to enjoy a weekend of sport and spectacle.

The Town Hall encourages citizens to participate and to follow the municipal social media for updates on the event. The expectation is that the circuit will be ready in the coming days and that the organisation will finalise details to provide a complete experience for attendees.

The date is set: Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29, at Can Morral. Those wishing to attend can already purchase their tickets through the channels provided by the Town Hall and Entrápolis.
