The Frederic Mompou Civic Centre will host a new blood and plasma donation day on Saturday, August 8, organised by the Blood and Tissue Bank. Donations can be made from 9:30 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19:30.
Next Saturday, August 8, the municipality of Castelldefels will host a new blood and plasma donation campaign. The mobile unit of the Blood and Tissue Bank will be set up at the Frederic Mompou Civic Centre, located at Joan XXIII Square, 10, from 9:30 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19:30.

Blood donation is an essential act to ensure healthcare assistance in hospitals every day. The Blood and Tissue Bank reminds that anyone over 18 years old and up to 70 years old, who is in good health and weighs more than 50 kilos, can donate blood. It is not necessary to fast, but a personal identification document must be brought.
The Blood and Tissue Bank of Catalonia is the public entity responsible for managing the donation, transfusion, and analysis of blood and plasma, as well as acting as a centre for the procurement and processing of tissues.
