The six fairs held until summer in municipalities of the province of Barcelona have brought together over 4,000 participants and generated more than 10,300 job interviews, with the involvement of over 200 companies.

The job fairs promoted by the Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona have established themselves as a key meeting point between companies and job seekers. Until summer, the six events held in different municipalities of the region have surpassed 4,000 participants and facilitated over 10,300 job interviews.

The business fabric has responded strongly: more than 200 companies have offered nearly 2,400 vacancies during these events, which combine quick interviews like speed dating with guidance spaces, training, and sectoral activities.

Among the highlights of the semester is the fair in Granollers, which in its third edition reached a record of 1,082 attendees and over 3,100 interviews to fill 460 vacancies offered by 46 companies. Following this is the event in Vic, where the fourth edition of GiraFeina brought together 1,078 participants and generated 2,726 interviews with 68 companies and 987 offers.

In Vilanova i la Geltrú, the fair had 726 attendees and 1,275 interviews for around 400 vacancies, with special attention to young talent. In Sant Feliu de Llobregat, the second edition recorded 539 attendees and over 2,000 interviews for more than 130 offers.

The specific calls for senior talent, under the name GiraFeina +45, have also received notable responses. In Vilafranca del Penedès, the event gathered over 400 people and generated 715 interviews for nearly 300 vacancies, while the first edition in Berguedà attracted over 200 participants and 488 interviews for more than a hundred positions.

The calendar continues in the second half of the year. The next events will be on October 14 in Mollet del Vallès and on October 15 in Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Cornellà de Llobregat, as reported by the Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona. A week later, Mataró will host its fair, organised alongside the Town Hall, and in November Vilafranca del Penedès will repeat with a new edition of GiraFeina.

The fair model, based on express interviews and guidance spaces, has become an effective formula for direct contact between companies and candidates. Additionally, the editions have incorporated sectoral talks, skill workshops, and services to improve employability, with a commitment to including groups facing greater challenges and balancing young and senior talent.

In light of the successful participation, the organising entities are already working to continue the initiative and expand its territorial reach in upcoming editions. For attendees, the recommendation is to check the dates and requirements of each call on the official channels of the Cambra and the involved town halls.
