Cerdanyola adjusts summer hours for municipal facilities

Cerdanyola City Council publishes summer hours for its facilities, with closures and reductions in libraries, markets, and sports facilities.

Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council has announced special summer hours for its municipal services and facilities, affecting libraries, markets, sports facilities, and public service offices.

Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council has published the summer schedule for its main facilities and municipal services, which will be in effect during the months of July, August, and September. Most facilities will reduce their opening hours or close for holidays, while others will maintain their usual service.

The Central Library of Cerdanyola will change its hours from June 25 to September 6. It will open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 15:30 to 20:30; on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:30 to 20:30; and on Fridays only from 10:00 to 14:00. It will remain closed on Saturdays.

The Casal de Joves Altimira will close during the month of August. In July, the Youth Office will be open from 9:00 to 15:00, while the Espai Jove will move to the Institut Forat del Vent for the Summer Casal. The +17 project will develop activities in the afternoon and evening at various locations throughout the city.

The Municipal Cemetery will maintain its usual hours in July: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8:30 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 17:00; Tuesdays from 8:30 to 13:30; closed on Wednesdays; and Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00. In August, the hours will be unified from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 14:00, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 14:00.

The Can Xarau Municipal Sports Complex (swimming pool and gym) will open in July with regular hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 22:00; Saturdays from 9:15 to 13:45 and from 16:15 to 19:45; Sundays from 9:15 to 13:45. On Friday, July 31, the facility will close at 14:00. The office will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 14:00.

The Municipal Recycling Centre will apply summer hours in July and August: Mondays from 16:30 to 19:30; Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 19:30; Saturdays from 9:30 to 13:30.

The Caseta, a space for feminist and LGTBI resources housing the SIAD and SAI, will be open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00, and on Mondays and Wednesdays also from 15:00 to 17:30. It will remain closed throughout the month of August.

The Municipal Markets of Les Fontetes and Serraparera will operate in July and August with the following hours: Mondays from 8:00 to 13:00; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 to 14:00; Fridays from 7:00 to 14:00; Saturdays from 7:00 to 14:30.

The Iberian Museum and Settlement of Ca n'Oliver, until September 30, will open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 17:00 to 20:00; Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 16:30 to 20:00; Sundays from 10:30 to 14:30. The Cerdanyola Art Museum (MAC) remains temporarily closed for roof rehabilitation works.

The Citizen Attention Office (OAC) will be open from July 1 to August 31 from 8:30 to 14:00, with appointments available online or by calling 93 580 88 88. Most municipal procedures can be carried out electronically via the Electronic Headquarters.

The OMIC will be closed from August 5 to September 17, both inclusive. The Business Promotion Office (OPE) will maintain hours from 8:30 to 14:00 from July 1 to September 30, with no holiday closure. The Municipal Housing Office will continue with its usual hours of 9:00 to 14:00, except on holidays.

The Guiera Municipal Sports Park will maintain regular hours in June and July: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 23:00; Saturdays from 8:00 to 20:00; Sundays from 9:00 to 15:00. In August, it will close one hour earlier each day, and from August 10 to 16, it will remain closed for technical maintenance.

The Local Police will remain operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, via the numbers 93 691 20 00 and 092.
